Take a Walk Down Memory Lane of Sydney's Italian Fruit Shops

As part of the upcoming Sydney's Italian Fruit Shops Website and Register, we are pleased to publish one of the many beautiful memories that will be proudly displayed on the Register for future generations to enjoy.

This special memory was sent in to us by Silvana Cibei, the daughter of Walter and Pia Cibei, who owned a fruit shop called the Bardwell Park Fruit Shop at 54 Slade Street, Bardwell Park from 1960 until 1969. Silvana wanted her parent's story to be part of the project and to preserve this special part of their lives as a fruiterer family.
