Strategic Plan

Strategic Plan 2016-2018

The Co.As.It. Strategic Plan has been developed for the period 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2018. It represents the culmination of months of work and planning by our Board and Senior Management Teams and brings together a considerable body of work which saw the involvement of all employees, volunteers, stakeholders and the general community.

The Strategic Plan will drive the organisation forward ensuring we always remain true to our Mission and Values.
We are aware that a great deal of work will be required by our Board and Staff to ensure that we meet our objectives over the coming years, however, we are also confident that we will meet these challenges.

Strategic Plan 2010 - 2014

In embarking on the planning for the 2010-14 Strategic Plan, we
considered the process to be as important as the result itself. As
such we started working in mid 2009. We decided that in the first
instance it was important to gain the views of our broader community.

We engaged consultants to undertake a community consultation.
The purpose of the consultation was to gain the views of the
community in relation to their present and future needs and the role
that Co.As.It. ought to play in meeting these needs. The consultation was very extensive with over 700 people directly surveyed. The results of the consultation, available on this website, provided the foundation for a discussion on community needs. In relation to the Italian Bilingual School, a broad survey was conducted of the parent, staff and student community. The survey gathered views on bilingual education, the future direction of the school and general expectations of parents.

We look to the future with great optimism and remain confident that the 2010-14 strategic Plan will drive the vision for the organisation.

Strategic Plan 2007 - 2009

This Strategic Plan has been developed through a collaborative effort of the Board and the Management Team. The Values have been shaped by feedback from staff and the Action Plans have been developed by the Board, the Management Team and the staff.
The Strategic Plan is a road map, to guide the decision making and actioning process. The Plan needs to be seen as a work in progress so that it can be adapted to changing internal and external challenges.
The Board is committed to the implementation of the Plan over the next 3 years whilst remaining faithful to our Mission and Values.
