Seniors Week 2008 - April 2008

Every year NSW dedicates a week to seniors, celebrating the contribution they make to their family, friends and their respective communities. The week comprises a variety of events including concerts, information stalls, talks and luncheons. The theme of the week was 'Live Life', encouraging seniors to remain active and participate in society.

Last week Co.As.It. held three concerts, at Dee Why RSL, Club Marconi and Burwood RSL in celebration of Seniors Week 2008. This year also marks Co.As.It.'s 40^th anniversary of service to the Italian community, and the seniors concerts were a way to thank the Italian community for their support over the years.

All three concerts were well attended by members of the Italian community, with around 1200 participants over the three days.
