Adult Italian Classes

Term 1 commencing on 9 February!

Co.As.It. provides a great opportunity for adults to learn the Italian language and about Italian culture. Courses are designed for those who would like to gain a basic understanding of Italian or improve their Italian skills further.

Co.As.It. teachers ensure you will learn about Italian culture as this is an essential but fun tool that will help you develop your language skills even further.

Our teachers structure their lessons adopting the communicative learing/teaching methodology.

The program is structured in a way that previous students can enrol directly into the next level once they have completed the previous level.

New students that already have some knowledge of the Italian language are required to complete our self-assessment test prior to enrolling in a course. To make things easier for students, a self-assessment test is available on our website.

Classes will go ahead when a minimum of 9 students per class is reached.

Terms last 9 weeks and classes are held once a week. Each lesson lasts 2 hours and classes are conducted by qualified teachers specailised in Adult Education.

Students are not bound to use or purchase a textbook. Our teachers will provide students with course material each lesson. The program is based on numerous textbooks and Italian resources that can be found in our Italian Multimedia Resource Centre in Leichhardt.

At the end of the course we encourage students to provide us with feedback on our course. Your feedback is valuable to us. If you have any concerns about your course, feel free to discuss it with the Program Coordinator.
