It is with great pleasure that Co.As.It.’s Board of Directors announces the appointment of Ms Anita Bonanno as the new General Manager of Co.As.It. Sydney.
Anita has been capably undertaking the role of Acting General Manager in recent times, providing steady leadership, sound judgement and a strong commitment to the organisation during this important period. Throughout her time in the acting role, she has demonstrated professionalism, integrity and a genuine dedication to the mission and values of Co.As.It., earning the confidence and respect of staff, clients, volunteers and key stakeholders.
Anita is widely recognised for her collaborative leadership style, effective communication skills and ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation. She is a strategic and thoughtful leader who approaches challenges with optimism, professionalism and a clear focus on delivering positive outcomes. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her care for people and deep understanding of our services, makes her exceptionally well suited to lead Co.As.It. into the future.
Having served Co.As.It. in various leadership positions, Anita has developed a comprehensive understanding of the organisation’s services, operations and strategic priorities. Her extensive experience within Co.As.It. has been characterised by innovation, sound governance, operational excellence and an unwavering commitment to supporting the community.
Prior to joining Co.As.It., Anita held a senior leadership role with St Basil’s NSW/ACT Aged Care Services, where she undertook the senior role of General Manager, Community Services Retirement Villages/Assistant Director of Care. Her work there further strengthened her expertise in delivering high-quality, person-centred services while fostering strong organisational cultures and leading teams through growth and change.
The Board is confident that Anita’s knowledge, experience and leadership will continue to strengthen Co.As.It.’s position as a leading provider of community, education, and Italian Bilingual School services. Her vision, dedication and passion for serving our community will be invaluable as the organisation continues to grow and respond to the evolving needs of those we serve.
