This distinguished charity gala was held on Saturday 28 May 2022 at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, under the auspices of the Italian Consulate in Sydney.
Held to commemorate Festa della Repubblica, Italy’s National Day, the Italian National Ball 2022 celebrated Co.As.It.’s ongoing service to the Italian-Australian community. The event welcomed more than 500 guests from Australian and Italian business, political, media and community organisations, including the Prime Minister of Australia, the Hon. Anthony Albanese.
The evening was hosted in the Hyatt Regency Sydney’s Grand Ballroom, an impressive waterfront venue offering panoramic views of Darling Harbour through its floor-to-ceiling windows. This striking setting provided a fitting backdrop for one of Australia’s largest and most respected Italian-Australian charity events.
Funds raised through the Italian National Ball 2022 supported Co.As.It. in increasing awareness of bowel cancer and promoting screening within the community, contributing to improved health outcomes through culturally appropriate information and outreach.
