Held to commemorate Festa della Repubblica, Italy’s National Day, the Italian National Ball 2023 celebrated Co.As.It.’s ongoing service to the Italian-Australian community. The event brought together more than 500 distinguished guests from Australian and Italian politics, business, media and community organisations, reaffirming the Ball’s standing as a flagship event on Sydney’s cultural and community calendar.

Set within Sydney’s first five-star hotel, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth provided an elegant and historic backdrop for the evening. Located in the heart of the Sydney CBD, the Wentworth Ballroom is renowned for its heritage-listed marble, crystal chandeliers and iconic mirrored ceiling, offering a fitting setting for one of Australia’s largest and most respected Italian charity events.

The evening celebrated Co.As.It.’s commitment to supporting the Italian-Australian community and was proudly supported by our sponsors, partners and guests. Funds raised through the Italian National Ball enabled Co.As.It. to establish an Italian-language helpline, providing culturally appropriate mental health information, guidance and referral support to members of the community who may otherwise face language or access barriers.
