Story and Works of the Melocco Brothers

The work of Melocco brothers is embedded in the architecture of Australia. In mosaic, terrazzo, sgraffito, scagliola and many derivations of this ancient art, these exotic terms are presented in stunning works throughout Sydney by the hands of three extraordinary brothers who migrated from a small village in Italy to Sydney made their mark in history, by painting with stone.

The story of the Melocco brothers is now available as a book, Painting with Stone: The Story of the Melocco Brothers by Zeny Edwards. Co.As.It. is proud to partner with the Melocco Family to offer unique walking tours showcasing the iconic masterpieces of the Melocco Bros works in the Sydney CBD.
