My name is Giuliana and I am an Italian teacher at Co.As.It. and a language Assistant at the Italian Bilingual School.
I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Interpreting and Translation at the University of Palermo “Centro Masterly”. I also then completed a Teaching Intensive course for Community Languages at Sydney University.
I joined Co.As.It. in 2019. I enjoy working at Co.As.It. because I love having the opportunity to share the beautiful culture and language of my native country with my students, both children and adults, here in Australia.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, gardening, cooking, walking and the beach.
My coffee order is a short black espresso, with no sugar and no milk.
My favourite pasta dish is linguine ai ricci di mare.
My ideal travel destination is Sicily.
My go to party song is upbeat dance music.
My most beloved piece of clothing is my long floral dress.
My perfect car to get around town is my little Italian Fiat 500.

My name is Beatriz and I’m the Clinical Care Coordinator at Co.As.It.
I completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Canberra.
I joined Co.As.It. in 2022. I enjoy working at Co.As.It. because we assist the CALD community to feel a sense of belonging as well as providing quality person centred care to our clients, ensuring they can stay as independent as possible while living in their home.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, watching movies and spending time with my cats.
My coffee order is a cappuccino.
My favourite pasta dish is spaghetti carbonara.
My ideal travel destination is Portugal and Mexico.
My go to party song is Untouched by the Veronicas.
My most beloved piece of clothing is my black fur coat.

My name is Christina and I’m the Business Services Manager at Co.As.It.
I completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting at Macquarie University, and went on to complete my CPA qualification to become a Certified Practicing Accountant.
I joined Co.As.It. in 2022. I enjoy working at Co.As.It. because we are a not for profit organisation that gives back to our community by providing services that support the Italian culture and language.
In my spare time I enjoy running, hanging out with my family, and enjoying lazy days on the beach.
My coffee order is a ¾ milk Skim latte.
My favourite pasta dish is homemade lasagne.
My ideal travel destination is anywhere in Italy – I can’t wait to get back there.
My go to party song is the Macarena.
My most beloved piece of clothing is my red winter coat.

My name is Penny and I am the Operations Coordinator at Co.As.It.
I completed a Diploma of Frontline and Business Management. I am also an Aged Care RAS Assessor.
I joined Co.As.It. in 2021. I enjoy working at Co.As.It. because I love the culture and enjoy making sure that our community is safe and well cared for, encouraging quality of life.
In my spare time I enjoy teaching organic farming, cooking, gardening and running Medieval events and spending time with my grandchildren.
