Home Help Service
'Home-Help' is a 'user pays' program which provides private in home support. This service comes as a direct response to a growing need within the community for care that is both culturally and linguistically sensitive.
Home Help provides low level care to people in their homes. This is similar to the Community Aged Care Packages (CACP) program in the provision of care to support independent living in the community. However, the program can also provide additional services like gardening and lawn mowing as well as the organisation of allied health support like in home podiatry or physiotherapy.
Home Help guarantees flexibility to the client both in terms of the range of services offered as well as the turn-around time for the provision of care.
Eligibility to the service is not dependent on an external assessment and is offered throughout the Sydney Metropolitan Area (depending on staff availability).
Home Help guarantees a flexible high quality aged care service that can facilitate all levels of support and attend to individual needs whilst ensuring independence and client satisfaction.
